Filmfare and Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have religiously owned each and every copy of Filmfare since the last 7 years. My English was average before Filmfare happened to me , Filmfare helped in honing myEnglish skills, in a subtle way. It has also helped me understand the intricacies of Indian Cinema and the nuances of human behaviour. I have literally grown up with Filmfare! In fact, since the past 7 years, apart from my family, Filmfare is the only constant factor in my life! I have been fortunate enough to see my name several times in Filmfare(more than 25-i just lost count!!!),, winning lots of prizes also and registering my name in all of the viewer feedback columns. I still write to Filmfare;sometimes it gets published and sometimes not!!! Initially, being a Film magazene, I had to read it in a clandestine way in my home, but with time, my parents have accepted Filmfare as a part of their family and now love to flaunt my reviews and articles to their freinds. Even my freinds ask me regularly,"So, any new article in Filmfare?" Truly, thinking of a life without Filmfare is unimaginable today. It has become a part of my identity. I am sure this relationship is for life long!!!
tO READ THE BEST OF MY FILMFARE ARTICLES, JUST CLICK ON THE SCANS i'VE POSTED ON THIS BLOG...AND CLICK 2 ENLARGE-TO MAKE IT READABLE! aLSO CHECK OUT-older posts , ANDD KINDLY LEAVE A COMMENT!!!
I like the concept of the Filmfare man, moreso because I find a kindered spirit in him. Yes i have done it all. Over the past 7 years I have read Filmfare in the bus,in train,in car,on 2 wheelars,in rickshaws,in parks,in shopping malls, in my bathtub, on my commode, on rooftops, on kitchen tops,in my classroom,in hospitals,in amusement parks,in gym and so on. I read it anytime anywhere. No wonder life without Filmfare is unimaginable for me!
